I l est o " ciellement interdit de mouiller l’ancre dans cette magnifique baie ourlée d’une longue plage de sable fin, mais il semble que la tolérance soit de mise. Il faut toutefois veiller à déposer l’ancre sur fond de sable blanc, assez près de la plage, et non dans l’herbier, afin de ne pas porter atteinte à la flore et à la faune, et tout particulièrement aux lambis, dont l’espèce est protégée. Rendezvous Bay est réputée pour son bar restaurant de plage, le Dune Preserve (vers le milieu de la plage), et l’un de ses propriétaires, le chanteur Bankie Banx, parfois appelé le «Bob Dylan anguillais». Rendezvous Bay I t is o ! cially forbidden to anchor in this magnificent bay with its long, fine sand beach, but it appears as if some tolerance is allowed. Yet it is always important to anchor on the sandy bottom closer to the beach, and never in the underwater plant beds so as not to cause damage to the flora and fauna, and especially the conch—a protected species.
